Shoppolis Islands Arts & Crafts

Hi.  I'm Mercy, and I would like to point out that Arts and Crafts seem to predominate on Shoppolis Islands by virtue of the fact that as a South Pacific island group, native items are continually evolved and marketed around the world.  The tourist trade accounts for much sales, but supplying specialty markets is also a good business.  As a result, SI has many artisans who work independently and as groups to comprise approximately 7.5% of our overall output.  This is substantial.  Interestingly, our islands and those of others, help one another by ensuring that regardless of weather or other obstacles, each island group can maintain a reasonable income.  It is symbiotic and well worth the effort, because, as fate will have it, one never knows if one is going to be the savior or the saved.  William (Bill) Chase, Marketing Director for SI, says that a balanced output is what ensures SI's position in any marketplace.  Therefore, not only does SI produce islandic items comprising natural materials specific to the islands and particularly ours, but we also produce a line of superb, stainless steel nuts and bolts marketed under the brand name of EssEye Hardware Components, run by Ellis Caan and his associates, Graham Johns and Antoinette Givens.

Becky Stein is the Queen of Arts & Crafts.  Not only does she teach a number of the arts and crafts, she markets her's all around the world on the internet.  Her quilts and stained glass hang in some of the more noted homes and businesses.  Even with her busy schedule, she took the time to complile the following table of the top A&Cs.  We hope this list grows as new abilities are fostered in the young and old alike.
