It was hoped to open mail service between Islands and Australia, New Zealand, with this ship, but the arrangement did not materialize. Captain and ship lost same year, 1899, to unknown circumstance.

Blaine, Margaret Stiles, 18, Woodcarver; arrived in SI March 20, 1784; helped build her home, Everlee, over two years from 1784 to 1786; married Captain Everett Shopp (aged 32) in 1784; four children, Asa, Creighton, William and Lyla by 1790; served as nurse of SI until 1797; died in 1835, at 70, at home of natural causes; buried in private plot at Everlee with Everett; many of her early carvings remain the only portraits of SI settlers including the Captain, her children and herself.
Blaine, Michael, 26, barn builder; brother of Margaret Stiles Blain; joined his fiancee, Carla Bowen, and brought his sister to Prize Mary for voyage to SI; married Carla Bowen on May 30, 1783, on the ship by Captain Shopp; three children; none remained on SI; died 1834 at 77; both buried in Heaven’s Gate.

Crissock, Ellington, 23, Lieutenant on Prize Mary; born on March 15, 1761 to William and Margaret Crissock in the Barbican of Plymouth; father a mate on local traders for most of his maritime years arranged for placement on large fishing vessel at 14; remained local for five years; developed "feel" for navigation and sail handling; 1780, he became an apprentice to veteran Sailing Master, Desmond Pequod in St. Lucia. When Captain Shopp purchased Pequod's obligation from his Captain in 1781, Ellington came as part of the bargain; became one of the Prize Mary's Lieutenants; elected to the First Board, April 1784, to represent interests of the ship and its officers and crew; sensitivities in dealing with the passengers recognized early in the voyage; married Yvonne Warren (17 at time of voyage) in 1786; had one son, Talon, born on SI 1788; died at sea of fall aboard SIS Pacific Destiny, as Captain, in 1796 at age of 35; buried at sea in accordance with his request; sword was given by Yvonne to Pequod; sword hangs today in the Big Nose School of Navigation and Seamanship.

James Fuller, the youngest of the three sons, became the head of the household that still has members living and working on SI to this day. Even though, Janet's roll in providing relaxation for the men of the ship, was considered "outside the realm" of decent young ladies, it is celebrated with pride throughout the SI community, and Janet Tiller and Calman Cane Fuller are considered the "parents" of Loveladies. Benjamin Brady, one of their descendants, served as Executive Director of Loveladies for ten years from 1927 to 1937.
