    Shoppolis Islands Information

My name is Edgar Force, and I run one of the transportation groups on SI.  I am proud to one of the people who brings things that you want to you.  We do this with many types of vehicles, which is why I was asked to talk to you about SI and its vehicles.  There are quite a few wheeled machines on the array of Shoppolis Islands, but they are not the predominant mode of transportation.  For the most part, travel is by water, but what travel there is on the limited roads is public transportation.  Most vehicles are for fair weather, when the salt water can't corrode them down to nothing.  The automobiles on the islands are of the thrifty type discounting the collector cars and other classics that are more for show and fun than real transportation.  On weekends, there are very few cars on the roads at all.  During the week, the commuters comprise the largest portion of the vehicle on the roads and in parking lots.  Even though CB Motorhomes & Campers sells what their name implies, most are exported to other larger bodies of land, such as New Zealand and Australia.  This is because, CBM&C carries a number of hard-to-find units and those what call for high levels of customization, such as those that are effective off-road. 

On the other hand, people like the Johnny French family live in their capacious motorhome down on the beach/treeline of Tea Cup Bay.  The unit rarely moves, and when it does, it is to drive to CBM&C for repair or upgrading or inspection.  Johnny and his family, wife, Jane and two daughters, Emily and Lucretia, enjoy the mobile life and have made arrangements with the Darlington family for the right to park on their land for an agreed-upon rental.  Some of the others who live in their units have done the same, and the Parkers, Bobbi and Ted and their son Larry, move between two points in order to have a change of scenery twice per year.

Parkerland Auto and Auto Kraft are among the many dealerships that exists on SI.  Most are small because there isn't much room for vehicular movement on the islands.  Much of what is sold, goes to surrounding islands, that do not have access to this type of product and service.  The other islands have to import from other countries, far away.  SI, because of its size, has a wide assortment of dealerships that cater to specific customers rather than a wide variety of unknown persons.  As a result, you can find almost any brand and custom vehicle in the world.  If it is not stocked, it can be ordered.

Vehicle Racing Classes

The listing that you see below was compiled by the students at the Zetzik Speed Shop in Ben Bow in the Fisheries.  Even though they specialize in fast boats, the interest in the staff in overall racing around the world is bountiful.  The list, which they admits is short, is designed to inform you of the depth and breadth of the classifications that can be found in the vehicle racing world.  The group, led by Sigmund Pretorian, an 18-year old PWC racer from St. John's Island, says that he will personally advance this list as time goes by.  We are all looking forward to this.  Thanks.
